2. Description of Service

Order Catering is a platform that connects customers with local caterers and restaurants for food delivery and catering services. Our service includes:

• Online ordering and payment processing
• Location-based caterer matching
• Order management and tracking
• Customer support and dispute resolution
• Interactive maps and location services

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of our service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Food Responsibility

Order Catering acts solely as a marketplace platform connecting customers with independent restaurants and caterers. The restaurant or caterer you order from is solely responsible for:

• Food preparation, quality, and safety
• Accuracy of menu descriptions and pricing
• Allergen information and dietary accommodations
• Food handling and packaging
• Compliance with local health and safety regulations

Order Catering is not responsible for the food itself, its preparation, or any issues arising from the food provided by the restaurant.

5. Customer Responsibilities & Order Verification

At Time of Order

You are responsible for ensuring your order is accurate before submitting, including:

• Reviewing all items, quantities, and special instructions
• Verifying delivery address, date, and time
• Communicating all dietary restrictions and allergies clearly in order notes
• Confirming contact information is correct

At Time of Receipt

Upon receiving your order, you must:

• Inspect the order immediately to verify all items are present and correct
• Check that any special requests or dietary accommodations have been fulfilled
• Report any missing items, incorrect items, or concerns about allergen information immediately to both Order Catering and the restaurant

Important: If anything is missing or incorrect, including concerns about allergy information, you must notify us and the restaurant as soon as possible. Delayed reporting may affect our ability to resolve the issue or provide a refund.

6. Order Cancellations & Modifications

Restaurant Cancellations

Restaurants reserve the right to cancel any order at any time for reasons including but not limited to:

• Ingredient unavailability
• Capacity constraints
• Inability to fulfill special requests or dietary requirements
• Operational issues or unforeseen circumstances

In the event of a restaurant cancellation, you will be notified and issued a full refund.

Customer Changes & Refunds

Orders modified or cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery time may not be eligible for a refund. This policy exists because restaurants often begin preparation well in advance for catering orders.

• Changes requested more than 48 hours before delivery: Full flexibility, subject to restaurant approval
• Changes requested within 48 hours of delivery: Refunds are at the sole discretion of the restaurant
• No-shows or refused deliveries: No refund will be provided

7. Delivery Terms

All delivery times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to unpredictable factors including but not limited to:

• Traffic conditions
• Accidents or road closures
• Parking constraints at the delivery location
• Weather conditions
• Building access restrictions or security procedures
• Incorrect or incomplete delivery instructions

We recommend planning for flexibility in your event timing. Order Catering is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from delivery delays.

8. Payment Terms

Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe:

• All payments are processed in USD
• Prices are subject to change without notice
• Sales tax and delivery fees may apply
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy outlined in Section 6

9. Third-Party Services

Google Services

Our platform integrates with Google services:

• Google Analytics: Used for website analytics and user behavior tracking
• Google Maps: Provides location services, address validation, and interactive maps

Use of these services is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Payment Processing

Payment processing is provided by Stripe and subject to Stripe's Terms of Service.

• Respect delivery personnel and provide safe access

• Reverse engineer our software

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Availability of specific caterers or menu items
• Exact delivery times
• Compatibility with all devices or browsers

Limitation of Liability

Order Catering shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of our service.
